Welcome to NPM Lookup by EZbot ("the Service"), operated by EZbot Intelligence ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Description of Service

The Service provides users with a tool to look up information about Node Package Manager (NPM) packages. It retrieves data from the official NPM registry and utilizes a third-party AI service (Google's Gemini API) to generate summaries and analyses of package data. The information provided is for informational purposes only.

2. User Accounts

To access the Service, you must create an account via Google Sign-in or email and password. You are responsible for safeguarding your account information and for any activities or actions that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or engage in any activity that disrupts, diminishes the quality of, or interferes with the performance of the Service.
• Using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Automating access to the service through scraping, bots, or other non-standard means without our express written permission.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to the logo, design, text, and graphics) are and will remain the exclusive property of EZbot Intelligence. The data displayed about NPM packages is the property of their respective owners and is provided via the public NPM registry.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Service relies on third-party services, including:

• NPM Registry: For package data. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of their data.
• Google Cloud & Firebase: For hosting, authentication, and database services.
• Google Gemini API: For generating AI-powered summaries. The output is generated by an AI and is provided without warranty of any kind.

We do not control and are not responsible for the terms or practices of these third-party services.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the information provided.

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of package versions and AI-generated analysis before implementing them in your projects. In no event shall EZbot Intelligence be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, broken software builds, data loss, or business interruption) arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Donations

The Service is currently free to use. We may offer the option to make voluntary donations. All donations are non-refundable and do not entitle you to any additional features or services.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
